Make is the default for a new workflow estate: a visual scenario, hosted, and nobody runs the platform. Pipedream on this page is for people who already have Workflows and need a migration plan, and for teams already on Connect. It is not a plan a new buyer starts. This page does not quote Startup as a price a new buyer can choose.
Make prices checked 18 October 2026. On Make’s pricing page, in USD at 10,000 credits a month, Core is $12/month billed annually ($16 billed monthly), Pro is $21/month billed annually ($28 billed monthly), and Teams is $38/month billed annually ($51 billed monthly). Most actions consume 1 credit. Free includes 1,000 credits a month. Core, Pro, and Teams can auto-purchase extra credits. The page says: “Under 20 employees? Check if you qualify for our Start-up Plan and get 50% off Business.”
The Make button is the partner registration path, with pc=monedaai2026, and it is only the Make recommendation. The Pipedream button is pipedream.com. It is not a tracking link, and it is not a new Workflows signup.
The migration shortlist, with the export checklist, is Pipedream alternatives. An AI-agent canvas versus this visual canvas is Gumloop vs Make. Self-host control is n8n vs Make. The leave-Zapier shortlist is Zapier alternatives.
What we evaluated: whether a new buyer can start Pipedream Workflows, and whether Make’s visual canvas is the hosted path that does not carry that date. Make won for new workflow estates. Pipedream remains the note for existing Workflows users and for Connect.
